First day of spring break- a rainy stormy brrrr of a Monday. I got us to the big mall movie theater by 10:30am. My daughter dressed up in a glittery sequined pale green dress layered over a hot pink tee and some red pug leggings. All dressed up to see.. Home!

We made it through 30 minutes of painful trailers and lame advertisements. The show began and I remembered:

the ushers who used to bust rude movie goers with flashlights!

the guy in the projector booth!

Projectors and real film that could burn or break!

movies before cellphones!

what a great day to spend the morning with my girl.  I have a lot to teach her about the way life used to be.
